Average temperatures during December range from 8 to 17 degrees so if you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, you won’t find it in Valencia. However, there are lots of amazing events scheduled to keep you entertained.
Valencia Has Talent 2022
On December 8th you have the chance to attend the first ever Valencia Has Talent. This is a fundraising contest which will showcase a variety of acts from all cultures and arts. Here you can mingle with other English speaking people, enjoy local talent, vote for your favorite act…all while supporting two great causes!
75% of all proceeds will help Intermission Valencia to produce theater and 25% will support the local animal shelter SVPAP to care for abandoned cats and dogs.
The acts will be scored by a panel of judges with three levels of awards, First place, Runner-up and Audience Choice. This will be a night to remember and all for a great cause!

42nd Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso 2022
The Valencia Marathon Trinidad Alfonso EDP, organized by SD Correcaminos and the Town Council, is one of the world’s top competitions. The time of year, ideal for long-distance races, the perfect temperature together with the incomparable backdrop to the race, the City of Arts and Sciences, make this marathon one of the most outstanding events on the national and international scene.
Where: The finish point is at the Science Museum Príncipe Felipe located at the City of Arts and Sciences.

The Christmas Markets Valencia
Every year, the Valencia Christmas Market scene delights locals and visitors alike with a series of exciting Christmas events and markets that offer plenty of amazing opportunities to buy the perfect gift.
The City of Arts and Sciences returns with its classic Christmas market filled with special gifts; a wide range of culinary offerings provided by food trucks; and demonstrations of traditional trades, including glassmakers, ceramists, carpenters and carvers.
Plaza de la Reina is another area where you can find vendors selling their jewelry, food, and more.
There will also be markets in Mercado Colon and at the Tapineria Market.

Valencia’s Christmas Concert
Another great way to experience the Christmas spirit in Valencia is to attend the annual Christmas concert. On the evening of Saturday, December 17, the Real Colegio de las Escuelas Pías, one of the most magnificent venues in Valencia, will become the stage for the city’s most iconic Christmas concert.
Performing on the evening will be the award-winning Ad Libitum chamber choir, conducted by Maestro Francesc Gamón, from Valencia. This beautiful recital, with songs and instrumental music, will celebrate the period leading up to Christmas. Tickets can be bought online and are priced at €18.

David Burgueño Magic Show Valencia
Christmas is truly a magical time of the year so what could be better than to check out an amazing magic show. David Burgueño, the young but great illusionist who has wowed people on television shows like Spain’s Got Talent and on the streets of Madrid with his street magic shows. Now you have the opportunity to see him perform live in Valencia. Tickets are available online and cost €12.

Special Tribute Concert to Elvis Presley
How about spending a night listening to all the best hits by “The King of Rock and Roll?” The Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia offers a special tribute to Elvis Presley by the Fussion Band and Eduardo de Eduardo. They are a highly-rated tribute band and the event will take place on Friday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ateneo theater-auditorium. Tickets cost €10 and can be bought online.

New Year’s Eve at La Sala
Valencia is an amazing city to ring in the New Year and this year will be no different. La Sala is one of the most exciting venues in the city and they have planned an awesome party. Come and say goodbye to 2022 at the best dance party in the city. The party will run from 6PM until long into the small hours of the morning. Live music acts such as the P-Tardeo Sisters and Ana Peligro will provide some great music while you can enjoy the night sipping cocktails. Tickets are available online and cost €15 for general admission.
