What to do in Valencia this February?

74TH Edition of Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana
Kick off the month of February with the 74th edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, 2023’s first multi-stage bike race on European soil. With world-class cyclists in participation, this event is attended by thousands of visitors every year.
The event will run from February 1st to 5th and will start from the Alicante town of Orihuela. Cyclists will travel through hills and mountains in Altea, Novelda, Betera, Sagunto Burriana and Altura over the five stages of the race and finish in Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Valencia on the final day.
Last year’s title was won by Russian cyclist Aleksandr Vlasova and it was watched by 17 million viewers in a broadcast that reached 206 countries. Fallas Festival Ninot Exhibition
As the city of Valencia prepares for the Fallas celebrations next month, February is the perfect time to visit the Fallas Ninot Exhibition located in the Science Museum.
From February 3rd you can get a sneak preview of some of the amazing ninot artworks at this creative exhibition. Hundreds of ninots are submitted each year by the Fallas Committes in Valencia.
These “ninots” are the figures that make up the scenes in the Fallas monuments. Visitors have the chance to vote for their favorite, and the winning piece will be saved from the fires on the last night of Fallas, where all the others are burned throughout the city.

Standup Comedy: 50 Shades of Jordan Thomas Gray
American comedian and TikTok celebrity Jordan Thomas Gray brings his comedy show ‘Shades of Jordan Thomas Gray’ to Valencia. On February 17th, get ready for a night full of laughter, with plenty of jokes and songs to keep you entertained. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other English speakers and expats.
Jordan Thomas Gray is an American musician and comedian who lives in Poland. Typically accompanied by his electric guitar, Jordan brings a unique blend of music and humor to the stage and conveys a positive message through songs and stories. Jordan has performed comedy in dozens of cities all over Europe, and was recently featured on an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters International. KYOTTO – Live Concert Valencia
On Saturday February 11th at the Matisse Club, you won’t want to miss this live concert by ‘KYOTTO’. KYOTTO is a renowned Galician artist from the urban scene in Spain and Latin America.
KYOTTO is both a performer and a composer, his music is not classified in any specific genre since its versatility allows it to flow between different styles such as Indie, Reggaeton, Lo-Fi, and R&B. His musical style is characterized by depth, purity and feeling in each of his lyrics reflecting the experiences of his childhood and love.
Although he has been singing since the age of 14, his career took off in 2018 with the single “My Own” which today has more than 15 million views on YOUTUBE.
After several singles in 2020 that positioned him in the national and international spotlight, in June 2021 he released his most important work to date “DEIDAD” which was very well received and led him to go on a national tour in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Malaga with the highlight being his performance in “Riverland Fest”.
